If you've never gotten into the Tom Waits thing or "don't understand him," I recommend at least taking a listen to this live performance posted on NPR. He plays a mind-numbingly virtuosic set. He plays unique, passionate music with theatricality and humor. It's an alluring aural cocktail.

I thought I did until I checked out the new crap they're shovelling. You should go to this site and watch the video just to say goodbye to a band that could have been great but went downhill REALLY FAST. With new lyrics like, "ooh baby let my lovin' ease your pain / bring your burning skin to my river," Ed Kowalczik (sp?) can be proud to join the ranks of Brittney Spears and Ricky Martin. Blech! Bring back "Mental Jewelry." The video is so trite and bad, it hurts my delicate senses.

Haha, this is awesome. Through your left speaker, it plays Nickelback's How you remind me (2001), and through the right speaker, it plays Someday (2003). They are pretty much the same song.
