Women's Personal Finance Blog has a great post on managing money which is not at all exclusive to women.

We were talking about this artist over lunch. I had never heard of him but I'm intrigued. He creates highly detailed replicas of money, spends them, and then sells the receipt from his "purchase" to an art collector who can then go track down the spent bill and try to purchase for their art collection.
