    I saw "Whistle Down the Wind" last night at the 5th Avenue Theatre and think it was probably the worst musical I have ever seen. It is contrived, strains credulity a bit too far, and is grossly heavy-handed. Boo!

    I've always wanted to see "Sweeney Todd" and now it sounds like there is a very special production of it happening in New York. Each of the actors also plays the instruments. Now I have yet another excuse to try and make it to New York City (I've never been)...
