Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a courageous and intelligent woman. Muslim fanatics killed a movie director she had worked with and pinned a note to his body with a knife, calling for her death and holy war against the west. Her memoir is receiving rave reviews from the New York Times here.
Quoted: Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s brave and inspiring memoir traces her journey from Mogadishu, Somalia, to the Dutch Parliament and beyond and “from the world of faith to the world of reason.”

This makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.
Quoted: Nearly one in four Americans, 22%, say they would not like to have a Muslim as a neighbor. [...] Almost four in ten, 39%, advocate that Muslims here should carry special I.D. That same number admit that they do hold some "prejudice" against Muslims. Forty-four percent say their religious views are too "extreme."
