The HTC Touch Dual Slider looks quite nice in this video from Expansys. It has 3G support, which the iPhone does not.

I want Google's entrant in the mobile phone space. According to this BusinessWeek article, it has the potential to change the entire industry landscape. Bring it!

Why is it that all mobile phone advancements looks so bland in the press releases, even when it's pretty cool?

Sprint and Clearwire are partnering to provide a better boradband network via WiMAX. Seems like a good idea to merge these two technology providers together for better user experience.

Details about the rumored iPhone are starting to make it out in major publications now. Why would you launch a phone in Q1 instead of the holidsy, though?

Anyways, I'll be interested to see what Apple brings to the smartphone party (although I've got a long time left on Treo contract with Sprint).

I like the idea of phones starting to feel more like vintage apparel, anything other than plastic. Leather and metal in phones = an idea whose time has come.

Motorola's new slide-style phone, called the RIZR is receiving lots of positive attention today... I think it looks quite attractive, personally.
