Mel Gibson's new spectacle, "Apocalypto," is coming. It sounds as if they're starting to push it pretty hard in the Latin viewing community. Maybe they think the anti-Semitic tirade was never translated into Spanish?
Quoted: Jhane Myers certainly wasn't expecting a personal phone call from Mel Gibson.

Reviews were bad but this is officially my favorite movie of 2009. Christopher Doyle's color, light, photography plus jarmusches silence, minimalism, and difference/repetition provide a pure crystal time image with a critique of control societies to match. Or as it is said by reviewers: "movie purposefully going nowhere" "Jarmusch's characteristic indifference to narrative excitement makes it hard to love" "As usual, Jarmusch is supremely uninterested in telling a story or exploring character, and is content to build up an atmosphere..." Beautiful.
