eric | Shared With: Everyone - Aug 10 2007 | productivity, notes, research, software, toolsThis looks like an interesting application. Use a Notepad-like text editor and it creates your own automatic wiki by hyperlinking your notes for you. I could see that being really useful. You can even set it up as a sync server so you can run from multiple machines.

This looks like a great app, especially for free. I may try experimenting with it for online video capture.
Update: Looks to be made by the same folks that made SnagIt so it's pretty legit...
Quoted: The concept of Jing is the always-ready program that instantly captures and shares images and video…from your computer to anywhere.
Quoted: It’s something we want to give you, along with some online media hosting, to see how you use it. The project will eventually turn into something else. Tell us what you think so we can figure out what that is.
Quoted: Try it, you’ll like it. Find out more.

After using Wordpress's crappy text editor for my last blog post (ad it taking two hours of fixing munged code that the editor thought my post "needed"), the thought of just being able to post from within gmail (or any other email client) is sounding really ice. This company allows you to use email to post to your blog from anywhere (including your lovely smart phones). I'm going to try checking it out to see if it works.
Quoted: blogmailr is the easiest way to blog on the go. Publish from your email straight to your blog. Post from your home, work, or on the go with your cell phone.

People often wonder how the two compare one to each other and since there is no comparison available I thought it would be a good idea for me to write one. So here it is.

I’d guess pretty young (think Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.) living the red beans and rice lifestyle and working 80+ hours a week and sleeping under their desk. On some parts, I’m probably right — but on many, I’m flat-out wrong.
