Warm days will help. Water twice a week - allow the soil to dry out
between waterings. Just a guess - about 3 weeks to a month when
starting with rhizomes. Watch for purple shoots - they look sort of
    like asparagus.

    Thanks

I just purchase a Bayou Burner SP10 from Amazon for $42 shipping included, tax not included. It claims to deliver 185 KBTU with a 20 psi regulator. One thing you need to watch is the type of kettle you plan to use on it. If you have a Sanke or keg c...

One of the better methods of heating that I’ve heard is actually
having heating elements in your kettle. Far greater efficiency of
applying heat to the liquid, and you get far more liquid to surface

I am in the process of reworking my system on paper.
Any suggestions on burners. I want to cut the amount of time it takes
me to reach a boil and the amount of time it takes me to heat strike
    water.
Budget is very important to me.
