    Sosom,
It is true that the main culture could be continuing to grow. But the
starvation culture portion you have pumped off, will be loosing oil.

    Glenn,
We don’t have an expert on the ASP. You can read it for yourself. I think
references are in the Files section.
They did not test BB - that was an Australian study. They were talking
    about water temp.
    I don’t think air temp is a b...

This stuff is starting to sound more like growing certain vegetables
all the time. How about a bit of the high phosphorus bat guano?
Has anyone tried foliar spraying it as the top layer moves around.
With a moving crop it could be automated easy enoug...

    Dear Group,
It would be useful to discuss each aspect of Algae production with an
emphasis on the numbers related to it. Without agreeing and checking
the numbers we will go around in circles like a dog chasing its tail.
If there is time available, I ...

Could we use 2,4,5-T as Growth Hormone for our algae?
    Probably not.
(Of course, it’s just a rhetorical question, anyway. But it
    started me thinking…)
For one thing, it would probably be hard to get. It has been
    banned or severely ...

Hi, just curious, wondering if you’d be willing to share your variable
costs, the delineated costs in the 6.15 and 6.96 /gal cost estimates
    you quoted.

    Bobby,
Sorry about that. Should have searched the title first.
    I agree entirely.

    Anand,
The ASP covered these for large installations. They found that raceway
    ponds are significantly less.
Navid compared productivity for lab scale. He found that raceways are more
    productive. (The raceways were outside.)

    Dave,
No body has grown oil from algae, processed it though to completion, and
written reports on what happened, so there are no reports of what
contamination happens. That is why you cannot find it in the Internet.
Many people have run small algae gr...
