Warm days will help. Water twice a week - allow the soil to dry out
between waterings. Just a guess - about 3 weeks to a month when
starting with rhizomes. Watch for purple shoots - they look sort of
    like asparagus.

I’m assuming that I should let it go for a while to continue
fermenting? I would like to see it get to .992 if I could …
    Thanks

doesn’t that defeat the purpose of carbon credits though?

My first two yrs of hop growing used a pulley type system and one time that happened to me. The vines grew around the pulley making it unusable. I moved my plants to a better location and adopted a lift-out pole type trellis. I have pictures of this...

I know this isn’t about brewing equipment but I figured that you guys could
    answer my question.
I have a 5 gallon batch of wheat beer in the primary fermenter right now and
I have 2 lbs of frozen raspberries that I want to flavor the beer with. I...

I have a question about the height of my hops. I know they can grow
very tall up to 20 feet or so. Now if I have a 10 foot pole do I cut
the bines when they reach that height? Will that start the side growth
then? Last time I grew years ago I had 8 fee...

I received an order for hop rhizomes the other day. I put them in the
refrigerator. Or should I put them in the freezer?
(I can’t plant them for several weeks, too much snow still on the ground.)

Thanks for the replies, I’ll likely put them in the ground this weekend. I
like the reflector idea, I’ll try that if I run into any problems.
