my new favorite poet. i saw her give a beautiful reading on sunday, which prompted me to buy "after." her writing is elegant and thought-provoking.

    Tumbleweed Tiny House Company

Very Thumbelina. I love the idea, the execution, and the overall aesthetic of this tiny house...but the unfortunately practical (consumer) side of me thinks that it would make a really great closet for my shoes, coats, and handbags!

His work transforms BMW’s H2R hydrogenpowered race car, shrouding the alternative-fuel vehicle in a new skin of steel mesh, mirror-coated stainless steel, and many layers of ice to focus our attention on the relation between car design and global warming.

    Carsten Höller: Neon Circle

    neat-o.

Quoted:Whether sending us down 40-foot long slides or inducing mild visual hallucinations inside a circle of neon tubes, the scientist-turned-artist Carsten Höller offers viewers fleeting moments of transformation. For those willing to suspend their expectations, Höller’s interactive installations offer an experience of art that is multi-sensory, even extrasensory.
