Amazon.com: Bone Volume 1: Out From Boneville: Books: Jeff Smith

redotted from Sung Park. maybe to read to the kids.

Sung said: just finished reading the entire bone series. it's a wonderful fairly tale story. it's set in a fantasy relm where dragons, giant bees, rat creatures, cats the size of houses roam freely.
the story starts out sweet and something of a children's story but as the story progresses it becomes richer and deeper for older readers. there are great battles, twists and turns, folklore and funny moments - it's really good stuff.
i would highly recommend you read it if you like :

    rice boy

redotting from Sung Park because rice boy is "the one." oh wait, wrong story.

Sung Park said: rice boy updates!
    CHAPTER 8!

also - i wrote the guy who actually draws rice boy and asked him how long he intended the story to be - he stated about 300 pages! whoo hooo! can't wait til he finishes (eventually).

very cool. something about it riveting...haunting. i'm afraid to think too hard about it b/c i have this feeling i'm going to disagree w/ the message behind it, yet have no idea what that message could be or even if there is one. still, i hope the 404 error will be fixed soon.

redotted from Sung Park. he said: very very cool.

I was actually hoping to show the kids, 'cause it had a tank in it, but then the profanity. Actually, not so much the profanity, as the adult content. Oh well, hopefully it'll still be "dotted" in about 10 yrs.
