    rebar modern food

Got to try this neat little restaurant in Victoria, BC. Thanks for the recommendation, Deb! I was surprised that it was pretty packed even though none of the tourist books mentioned the restaurant.
We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The service was very slow, but we didn't mind waiting since we were in vacation mode.

    Pasta Freska Restaurant

Ended up going here last night. The "no menu" style was definitely an experience. Not to mention that the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

    Highly recommended.

    Tamarind Tree

I agree with you, Mei! It's one of my favorite lunch spots in the International District. And their tamarind soda is really good!
