Six Foreigners Face Death Sentence in Libyan H.I.V. Case - New York Times

I think its sad they were convicted again. The entire case just seems bizarre...

I also find it interesting that the doctor and nurses can escape their death sentence if they can come up with 10 million dollars each...

Quoted: Five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian doctor infected hundreds of children with H.I.V., the court said.

I don't get it... what was the motivation to do it?

exactly! my immediate questions was, is a pharmaceutical company involved? but no... it seems to me that this is a political move gone awry.

I hear this stuff happens in China too, used by thieves to rob people with a control substance. Also sort of like that russian spy being poisoned... pretty scary stuff. It seems in America, we're shielded away from these things... I almost forget how to appreciate a good life in suburbia.

All this reminds me of the scripture from the bible in Revelation 12:12:

      "Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
      He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short."
