Wow. Um ... don't know what to say. You should read the comment string on the issue. I guess that the jist of this is that seattle radio listeners get to foot the bill for a bi-coastal radio station and lose the local flavor of the station to boot.
Quoted: Beginning March 24, 2008, Radio Liberation will air KEXP-produced programming Monday through Friday on WNYE. The programming will feature a three-hour drive-time music show followed by three simulcast hours of The Morning Show with John Richards, a nightly world music show and a weekly variety show hosted by KEXP DJ and senior director of programming, Kevin Cole.

Some good music at Marymoor Park in July from the Sub Pop label.
Quoted: Sub Pop Records, the indie label that gave the world Nirvana, will celebrate its 20th birthday with a weekend of concerts in a Seattle park in July.
Among the groups reuniting or breaking long hiatuses for the July 12-13 event at Marymoor Park are Green River, Red Red Meat, the Fluid, Beachwood Sparks and Seaweed.
Current label acts confirmed to appear include Mudhoney, comedy duo Flight of the Conchords, Fleet Foxes, Foals, Grand Archives, the Helio Sequence, Iron & Wine, Kinski, Low, No Age, Wolf Parade, Pissed Jeans and the Ruby Suns.
