Popgadget - When did wireless routers get so sexy? - New Linksys

I never understood the Linksys blue ... (not that this would be any more "camouflaged" on top of the bookshelf than the other one).

Quoted: Away with the signature Transformer-toy looking black, grey, and blue Linksys router! Linksys newest line is black, sexy, and very sleek. They're camaflouged to blend right in among your sexy peripherals and almost disappear on your desk.

SciTechBlog: Blog Archive - iPhone 3G not so cheap after all « - Blogs from CNN.com

Interesting comparison of cost between the old and new iphones that shows the new iphone actually costs you more over two years of use ($40 more). The revolting number is that over the two years you will spend $1879 on having the iphone -- cost of the device, the voice plan and the data plan. Yikes.

Quoted: While it’s true that the device itself will cost $199, actually using the thing would become a significant monthly expense. In fact, the AT&T press release states that data plans for consumers will be available for $30 per month, in addition to voice plans starting at $39.99 per month. Bottom line: $69.99 per month if you’re going to use both internet and voice features. That’s a $10-per-month increase from the iPhone plans that have been in effect since last July. Business customers will have to pay even more: $45 per month on top of the voice plan.

Solar bra brings conservation closer to the heart | Oddly Enough | Reuters

Um ... I usually wear CLOTHES over my bra which would negate its sun-collecting abilities. And the bra-as-shopping-bag is not so useful either when you need the bra, well, as a bra.

Quoted: TOKYO (Reuters) - Ladies, take your battle for the environment a little closer to your heart with a solar-powered bra that can generate enough electric energy to charge a mobile phone or an iPod.

Lingerie maker Triumph International Japan Ltd unveiled its environmentally friendly, and green colored, "Solar Power Bra" on Wednesday in Tokyo which features a solar panel worn around the stomach.

The panel requires light to generate electricity and the concept bra will not be in stores anytime soon, said Triumph spokeswoman Yoshiko Masuda, as "people usually can not go outside without wearing clothes over it." ...

Being eco-friendly is now fashionable in Japan, and the "Solar Energy Bra" follows the company's other green-themed undergarments that include a bra that turns into a reusable shopping bag and one that featured metal chopsticks to promote the use of reusable chopsticks.

New swimsuit could break Olympic records - CNN.com

Quoted: The Speedo LZR Racer swimsuit is making such a splash in the pool that U.S. head coach Mark Schubert believes every record in the sport could fall at the Beijing Olympics.

Shining a light on fluorescent bulbs - Environment- msnbc.com

This has always been my issue with CFLs. This article has a nice guide though about what to do if you break a CFL and release the mercury in your house.

Will the seats in the 3D hologram theater shift side to side so that you see the movement? ;)
