This is FANTASTIC news! The more that we can learn about the right conditions for sea dragons to reproduce in captivity, the less that "pregnant" individuals will need to be taken from the wild.

Very interesting philosophical question for all animals held in captivity ... do you allow behaviors to exist in as natural a state as possible or do you admit that it's a contrived environment and therefore the animal will not be acting naturally anyway ...
