I just started a new blog called "We Be Reading" ... it's a mixture of reviews for books I read and those that the kid reads. I have 4 posts up so far. Someday I hope to convince T to talk about what he is reading too. Add me to your reader!
Quoted: A few years ago we took Z to Toys R Us and, for the first time, he picked out a book all on his own.

A very sweet story about a 1948 Olympian at these Beijing Games.
Quoted: Beijing calls this Olympic Games, “One World, One Dream.” My wheelchair restricted Olympian dad and I call our experience to China’s capital city symbolic of “One Big Helping Hand.”

You must be Kristen's friend before you can comment on this Fave. Two books I remember vividly from my youth, which I have reread and thoroughly enjoyed as an adult, that aren't mentioned on either of your lists: The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster, and A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle. Both are award winning classics with great morals and insights, neither mentioned.
