This is good news not only because Ian McKellen was a perfect Gandalf but because it seems to imply that Guillermo del Toro is going to keep a similar feel in the Hobbit movies as there was in the first trilogy.
Quoted: British actor Ian McKellen will reprise the role of the wizard Gandalf in the upcoming movies based on J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" he told a film magazine.

The 5 they chose are not especially wonderful (except for Indy and maybe Hellboy 2) but if you go to the bottom of the page and look at the poll that lists the upcoming movies for the year, it gets exciting!
(Star Trek, Wall-E, Harry Potter, Quantum of Solace, X-Files, Speed Racer, Iron Man)Quoted: Indiana Jones, Batman and two Brad Pitt movies are all headed to multiplexes near you.
