might make this for my mom for mother's day since she will be in town. i would, of course, substitute real crab meat for the imitation.

You must be liz's friend before you can comment on this Fave.you marylanders are total crab snobs. but, yes, real crabs will be much better. can i have some too?
this turned out REALLY well. i substituted lump crab meat for the imitation crab. it took longer to cook than the cook time listed in the recipe. luckily, my family was patient. i would definitely recommend this recipe. it was really easy to make.
