Scheunemann, along with Bill Kristol and Robert Kagan, are members of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC). Names associated with PNAC continue to come up in discussions/news about the Iraq War, American military hegemony, and presidential abuse of power.
Again, be very afraid if McCain becomes our new "I'm the commander guy" (to quote G.W. Bush).

Frederick Kagan, PNAC co-founder, believes the surge is working. That, right there, is reason to believe that the surge is NOT working.
