    Google's Blogging Chutzpah

Corporate blogging is an amazing double-edged sword....

Quoted: Opinion: If Google was as focused as it used to be, management would never have approved that blog post about Michael Moore's "Sicko."

Apple 2.0: Hackers Break Apple's Safari for Windows on First Day

Quoted: In Apple's defense, what they have released is a beta version of Safari, and betas are made for bug detection. But by creating a version that runs on Windows, it has left the relatively safe harbor of 5% market share and exposed itself to the winds of malware that blow fierce in the Microsoft (MSFT) Windows environment.

Freeze your hard drive to recover data: Myth or reality?

I've seen this work a number of times. Connect the drive as a slave and not as a master. Just be prepared to know exactly what you need to recover because you don't have long before the drive starts to fail again!

    Bose announces new QuietComfort 3 noise-canceling headphones - Alpha Blog - alpha.cnet.com

QuietComfort 2's are pretty much standard issue for traveling consultants. The 3's are smaller and include a rechargeable battery. $349 is too much for these minor differences though - I hope they drop the price.

Quoted: Bose is proving that smaller doesn't necessarily mean less expensive. The company has announced the QuietComfort 3, a new pair of noise-canceling headphones that are significantly smaller than its popular QuietComfort 2 headphones ($299) and feature...

Fascinating Webcast keynote/conversation between Bill Gates and Tim O'Reilly. Huge range of topics (e.g. mobility, digital lifestyle, software development, competitors, market leaders, trendsetters, etc). I'll have to rewatch this in its entirety.
