I followed up on the AIG bounus situation recently and found a few things. Chris Dodd (D-Conn) modified the stimulus bill at the last minute to providing a provision allowing the AIG bonuses to clear. The bill was soon passed by Obama, turns out that AIG's list of most lobbied in the last election are Obama #1 and close behind is Chris Dodd #2.
