Federal Way (seattle) schools restrict Gore film

"Condoms don't belong in school, and neither does Al Gore. He's not a schoolteacher," said Frosty Hardison, a parent of seven who also said that he believes the Earth is 14,000 years old. "The information that's being presented is a very cockeyed view of what the truth is. ... The Bible says that in the end times everything will burn up, but that perspective isn't in the DVD."

    2006 - Warmest year ever

Well, what can I say besides that I hate the cold and global warming has never been so good. We are .07C over 1998's previous record high average year. We can do better this year so grab your aerospray bottles and go buy yourself an SUV and we might actually have a good shot at beating the record next year if we can just get those darn gas prices down. They say that we have 20% less coverage in the arctic than we did 20 years ago and if we continue this way we may have a very real shot at an Ice free summer arctic ocean by 2040! Hooray for global warming!

Congress may give the president the power to lock up almost anyone he thinks is a terror threat.

Quoted: "What is worse, if the federal courts support the president's initial detention decision, ordinary Americans would be required to defend themselves before a military tribunal without the constitutional guarantees provided in criminal trials."

At some point soon, it may be best if we stop criticizing the president.
