When you lie on your back the muscles in the back of your throat become soft and relaxed and that is what causes that annoying loud sound. If you must purchase some body pillows and put them behind your back to prevent you from rolling over onto your back. If that does not help you can stick a tennis ball or racquet ball in a tube sock and tie the sock to the back of your pajamas this will prevent you from rolling over onto your back during the night.
