Eric not only writes a nice summary of the faves.com release - but also collected comments and links to several other reviews and news coverage. Thank, Eric!

I missed this Blue Dot mention by SEOMoz. The post is not dated - but from the content I infer that it was October 2006.
Lists a sample of 30 useful Web 2.0 web site. Blue Dot is number 18 in the list.
Quoted: Optimum usage of Blue Dot would be to build a community of people in your industry and bookmark your content that they should be interested in, and that promotes what you have to offer.

Post about coRank. I added a comment here.
Quoted: I'm the “Head Cheerleader” at Blue Dot. You’re right, it is an evolving space - not sure it’s that informative to say anymore that this service is just like these other two added together (though that’s a convenient shorthand for people trying to understand what these new sites do).
...
Rumors that MySpace is adding a bookmarking feature now change the equation too.
...
Blue Dot started as “social bookmarking” - much like del.icio.us, but focused on showing users a summary of what their friends are “dotting”. In January, we too, expanded our offering by adding Blue Dot Buzz - showing the most popular bookmarks across our network.
...
I think our ultimate vision is much like that described for coRank - we’re trying to make it easier for users to find the most interesting content on the web, without being overwhelmed by noise.ShareViewed: 21 Times

Template of links for posting to bookmarking sites. Chris placed Blue Dot as #2! Not because he thinks Blue Dot is the best ... but because we're alphabetically early in the list.
I don't care - it's nice to be this list whatever the reason!
I noticed he's linking to our fall-back UI. I know that's the easiest looking code - we should do something about making it simpler for people to get our snazzy in-place editing UI.

Eric (ex-Blue Dot PM) blogs about our new post-to-blog feature. Still in "alpha" test, but looks pretty great on his blog!
Eric helped out a lot with suggestions on how to make an awesome blog-posting tool.
