I find it interesting the the passengers do not immediately evacuate the plane (despite the sparks and flames around the right engine). Everyone waits calmly for the emergency equipment to spray foam retardant on the right wing. I'm not sure I would be so patient.

click to playAmazing footage of a 50 foot fall flat to the floor of a vert-ramp. After a couple minutes, he walked away. You can see from the slow motion footage that he absorbed much of the impact with his legs, much like a hit-and-roll they teach parachute jumpers. Good thing he was wearing a helmet too, and his head whipped the ground pretty hard.
