Roy blogged about this UI design tool - in the spirit of Dan Bricklin's Demo Program.
Quoted: Mockups feels like you are drawing, but it's digital, so you can tweak and rearrange controls easily, and the end result is much cleaner. Teams can come up with a design and iterate over it in real-time in the course of a meeting.

Thought provoking article on the problem of designing for those with severe memory deficits - seems to me there are lessons for design for high-functioning users as well (see comments at end of post).

Really good post on the importance of feedback from a user's "audience" that their user-generated content is actually being viewed and appreciated.

Submit your design for the new Google icon. The new lower case "g" is not final, apparently. Marissa Mayer explains in this blog post:

Look for a fax cover sheet template on Office Online.
I can't believe how badly MS has screwed this one up. There are so many design problems with this site - not the least of which they allow users to vote, and display the number of downloads, BUT there is no way to sort the results by most popular votes or downloads! Am I just not seeing it or is the feature completely missing.
How does that happen?

Full set of design applications for building Silverlight (and WPF?) apps. I'm not at all clear what the different apps are. Darrell has helped me decode the names:
Web - Dreamweaver (replaces FrontPage?)
Blend - Flash (XAML editor for Silverlight/WPF)
Design - Illustrator
Media - Asset catalog
Encoder - Replaces Windows Media Encoder?ShareViewed: 1 Time
