Amazon.com: Linksys WTR54GS Wireless G Travel Router with Speedbooster: Electronics

Recommendation from Roy. Rather than mess with the buggy ICS and AdHoc network support in Windows, just get this simple device that will may a wired connection into a wireless one.

I have one of these. Set it up at home, then plug it in on vacation - it just works!

Kind of pricey - $180 at Amazon.

Wow. I can't believe I spent that much. I don't have the Speedbooster version

I bought mine for ~$50 from Electronica Direct through Amazon Marketplace and it's definitely the "Speedbooster" version. They no longer have it listed, either on Amazon or their own web site. But, there are other sellers online that have it in that price range.
