The second installment of the Gates/Seinfeld commercials is out. Slightly higher on the entertaining scale - still scoring zero on the "what's the point" scale.
And who goes on a creeper under a car feet first? Granny is such a poser.
BTW - the brilliant web masters of the windows site have authored the insightful <meta description> of this page as:
"ADD"
I don't know if that's a mental problem or a note-to-self.

I'm trying to start a new meme - please refer to this commercial as the "Ass Clown" commercial whenever you talk or write about it.
Maybe we can shame MS into making commercials that are EITHER entertaining or inspiring.

Who is "Cascadia"? They are part of the infamous "Discovery Institute" (defenders of Creationism and Intelligent Design) which causes me to be very distrustful of the group.
There is an energy conference at Microsoft on Sept 4-5 sponsored by Cascadia. Interestingly, they have excluded one of the strongest local proponents and innovators of plug-in hybrid technology, Ed Furia of AFS Trinity, from the conference itself (though, at the governor's request, he'll have his prototype vehicle available for test drives in the parking lot).
It just makes me wonder what the actual AGENDA of this conference is when they go out of their way to exclude someone like Ed.

Is it just me or is Laura Foy INCREDIBLY ANNOYING? First of all, she is SHOUTING during this whole video (maybe Microsoft can't afford lapel or boom mics). Second, she comes off as condescending. I just feel like saying "FU" whenever she suggests something.
She used to be on G4 TV (aka TechTV - the second generation: cute but irritating hosts). She's also been on Microsoft's Channel 10.
