Two surprises-
Dave Schappell (Teach Street) authors a "reader blog" at the Seattle PI).
He covered Roy Leban's Puzzazz web site (started at the Google AppEngine Hack-a-thon this summer).

Really nice local site with information on hiking trails across the country. Not very "deep" content, but seems extensive.
Alexa 8,500 is very impressive for a niche site like this.
Quoted: Trails.com is the premier resource for trail reviews, hiking trails, mountain bike trails and many other outdoor activities. Find more than 43,000 trail descriptions and topo maps.
