Why don't I know more about Demand Media? A "quiet" $200M company - with offices including Seattle (Trails.com) and in Bellevue.
Quoted: "Google finds the Long Tail," Rosenblatt said, referring to the Web industry term for less-popular content, "and we fill it."

I'm looking forward to reading Sarah's book on Web 2.0 companies. Strangely, the Kindle version is MORE EXPENSIVE than the hardback? How can that be?
Hardback: $17
Kindle: $20If the book were a "best seller" - it would sell for $10 on Kindle. But I don't see how Amazon justifies selling the Kindle version for more than the hardback price.
Sarah is rumored to be planning a book tour - hopefully coming to Seattle as well.

You must be Mike's friend before you can comment on this Fave.Pretty cool, but I guess I'm missing something big. What's "Getty" in the lower right?
I'm guessing it's http://gettyimages.com. They rank as an internet commerce site (on the Money line). Probably also well known by web designers (one of whom probably did this page) since they can easily get images for use on web sites.
