I think Blue Dot may have been hurt by this latest PageRank adjustment. I looks like our PageRanks have gone down 2 points in some cases.
/Front - PR4 (was PR6, I think)
/Buzz/Video - PR4 (was PR6)
/users/mohit - PR3 (was PR5)I would expect to see a big decline in our search traffic based on this change. It's not really detectable yet; though traffic volume yesterday was down 7% from one week ago.

Trying out Google custom search across the public content of Blue Dot.
I finally settled on just searching directly for all perma-link (i.e., just raw dots). Other searches that show a mixture of user's tag pages were not very compelling and difficult to scan for meaningful results.

Just type in your profile:

Or, if you want to just have your dots that are tagged a certain way added, enter in:

BlueDot is getting noticed in the SEO community. Google is crawling us heavily, so it's no wonder that posts are helping get sites into the google search engine more quickly than just submitting to google.

Findory Founder, Greg Linden, stopped using Google AdSense because of poor targetting. His explanation has me thinking that they were trying to use pages with too little text on them (something we have seen also). My hope is that our new ads will be much better targetted with a larger corpus of text for Google to work with. We'll see....

Pretty funny video.
