Connecting people with information.
On Clipmarks.com, you can see clips of text, images or video about all sorts of topics that other people find while surfing the web.
The idea is that through each other, we can learn more, know more and enjoy more than we could possibly do alone. As you find people who post clips that interest you, make them a Guide. Think of your Guides as a team of web editors you choose to consistently deliver you clips of things they find on the web.

Video with founder of ClipMarks about new version shipping this morning. Todbits:
- They have no business model
- Founder is self-professed NON-techie. He has no idea how Google works, for example.
- Working on cliping video segments, not just whole videos.Clipping, as opposed to bookmarking, is kind of interesting. But seems to me that clipping out textual notes, as we do in Blue Dot, covers 99% of the problem, with 10% of the complexity. I think the tougher nut to focus on is social interactions, infrmation relevancy, and popularity algorithms (i.e. stuff Blue Dot is working on).
