Kirix™ Strata™ is a "data browser" that brings the sensibilities and simplicity of a web browser to the world of tabular data, making it easy to access, view and use data from any source.
We think data should be a lot easier to use. In fact, we believe that working with data should actually be an enjoyable experience.
So, to that end, we've developed a data browser that attempts to combat the issues surrounding data usability. Data has been captured and systems have been built but, in our experience, easy-to-use analysis tools are a lot harder to come by. Things start to get even more interesting when you throw the World Wide Web into the mix. It is, after all, the largest database in the world.

Evergreen is an open source library automation system that helps library patrons find library materials, and helps libraries manage, catalog, and circulate those materials, no matter how large or complex the libraries.
This is the project site for Evergreen, the highly-scalable software for libraries that helps library patrons find library materials, and helps libraries manage, catalog, and circulate those materials, no matter how large or complex the libraries.
Evergreen, which first launched in September, 2006 in Georgia's PINES consortium, now powers over 300 libraries of every type -- public, academic, special, school, and even tribal and home libraries -- in over a dozen countries worldwide. Evergreen has an active community that participates in its coding, documentation, and direction of the project.

What is Ultimate Edition 2.5? Ultimate Edition 2.5 was built off
Ultimate Edition 2.4 (Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 based) all upgrades
pre-installed as of current. It has KDE, XFCE, and Gnome user
selectable at login, 3 new themes and tons of apps. This release is
huge obviously bigger then UE 2.4 ;) I am not going to spend my time
writing a webpage, but just a post. Even though it is a very worthy
release and deserves a webpage. I have alot on my plate in programming
and other activities & I do mean alot. It has been out about a week,
forum users have been grabbing it left and right.

Here is a table. The system used in the U.S. is not as logical as that used in other countries (like Great Britain, France, and Germany). In these other countries, a billion (bi meaning two) has twice as many zeros as a million, and a trillion (tri meaning three) has three times as many zeros as a million, etc. But the scientific community seems to use the American system.

The caffeine molecule is just one of the possible building blocks of a 'quantum computer', a new type of computer that promises to provide mind boggling performance that can break secret codes in a matter of seconds.
Every so often a new technology surfaces that enables the bounds of computer performance to be pushed further forwards. From the introduction of valve technology through to the continuing development of VLSI designs, the pace of technological advancement has remained relentless. Lately, the key to improving computer performance has been the reduction of size in the transistors used in modern processors
"fact a quantum computer capable of performing Shor's algorithm would be able to break current cryptography techniques in a matter of seconds"
Also let's not forget Deep Crack (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_Crack ) which can break a 56bit DES message in 22 hours.

CSE P 590TU: Practical Aspects of Modern Cryptography Winter 2006
The introductory lesson already touches on the enormous size of the number space that is the root of the security of modern cryptography. But then again, as further lessons show, security by size alone may be deceptive as long as tricky mathematics allows to significantly reduce the search space.

I’d guess pretty young (think Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.) living the red beans and rice lifestyle and working 80+ hours a week and sleeping under their desk. On some parts, I’m probably right — but on many, I’m flat-out wrong.

2 FaversViewed: 93 TimesQuoted: When it comes to paper prototyping made in a digital fashion, there are two tools that really stand out: Balsamiq Mockups and iPlotz. People often wonder how the two compare one to each other and since there is no comparison available I thought it would be a good idea for me to write one. So here it is.
