Post about coRank. I added a comment here.
Quoted: I'm the “Head Cheerleader” at Blue Dot. You’re right, it is an evolving space - not sure it’s that informative to say anymore that this service is just like these other two added together (though that’s a convenient shorthand for people trying to understand what these new sites do).
...
Rumors that MySpace is adding a bookmarking feature now change the equation too.
...
Blue Dot started as “social bookmarking” - much like del.icio.us, but focused on showing users a summary of what their friends are “dotting”. In January, we too, expanded our offering by adding Blue Dot Buzz - showing the most popular bookmarks across our network.
...
I think our ultimate vision is much like that described for coRank - we’re trying to make it easier for users to find the most interesting content on the web, without being overwhelmed by noise.

Techcrunch mention in an article about a launch of a new social bookmarking site.
Quoted: CoRank launches out of private beta this evening. It’s best described as a cross between Digg and Bluedot. It has a Digg-like user interface where users view stories, but by default you are only shown stories bookmarked by other users you’ve added as friends.

I think this chart is saying that 2% of the traffic that AddThis drives goes to Blue Dot (in the same range as Reddit, Netscape, Technorati, StumbleUpon).
I wish there was a way for them to support our inline authoring.
Quoted: Readers can bookmark the post on Digg, Del.icio.us, Stumbleupon, Google Bookmarks, Bluedot and other services with a single click.

Congrats on the new release Blue Dot! The new features look quite good.
As I'm sure you're aware, TechCrunch has the story already, it's only unfortunate it was posted when it was since the story i already pushed down their front page.
Quoted: A few minutes ago social bookmarking site BlueDot launched a new feature called Buzz. This is a fairly unique product - part del.icio.us/popular ...

Very nice to get another public mention from Michael Arrington about Blue Dot. He links to TechCrunch's two stories since July.
Our site traffic is up a bunch today. Probably due to this plus a really nice mention in The Observer newspaper (UK).
FYI: the complete list of companies:
800-Free-411 (free 411)
Amie Street (music)
Ask City (maps)
Blue Dot (social bookmarking)
Digg (social news)
FlickR (photos)
Flock (browser)
Gmail (email)
NetNewsWire (rss reader)
Netvibes (personal homepage/portal)
Pandora (music)
Skype (IM+VOIP)
Techmeme (Blog search)
Wordpress (blogging)
YouTube (video)and... AllOfMP3, AllPeers, Last.fm, Meebo, Wikipedia, and Zoho
Quoted: BlueDot is a social bookmarking service that is similar to del.icio.us. I’ve started using it instead of del.icio.us becasue I like the interface better and it allows sharing of bookmarks just among friends, whereas with del.icio.us you have to choose between fully public and fully private bookmarks. The company launched in July and had an update in October.

Ramez was the MS rep on the call about the PowerSet acquisition.
MS acquired PowerSet to add natural language capability to the Live Search engine. The guess is that this was a $100M deal. Which shows there is still room for innovation in the search realm - it's good to see MS taking a stab at innovating in search.
