These could really come in handy since every single time we fly we're smuggling home wine or liqour. I'm tired of wrapping bottles in clothes, newspaper, bubble wrap--super McGyver style--to get it home. Hooray for entrepreneurial winos!
Quoted: TSA-friendly wine tote lets you safely transport wine in checked luggage. The perfect wine carrier for travel and picnics. Ideal for executive gifts, wine clubs.

Go Plan It was created to help users navigate through the myriad of information available and create a meaningful plan that can be accessed anywhere and shared with friends. As frequent travelers ourselves, we know that even the most experienced user could spend countless hours researching and managing all the details of a trip. And, anyone who has planned a trip with several people knows that group planning can be even more difficult. The information available can be even more daunting for novice planners. That's why we set out to create GoPlanIt. We wanted to create a tool that was helpful to everyone: from a first-time vacation planner to an expert globe trotter.

Yay, my friend Pam's article is up on MSN today!
Quoted: So far this century has been a sleek and shiny age marked by clean lines and minimalist décor (Apple store, anyone?) While white plastic gadgets have captured many a heart, sometimes I long for a time when clutter was a sign of abundance and extravagance was king.

We used TripHub for a group ski trip last year. I though the concept was good but the execution was a bit lacking. And, as with many consumer Web plays, it takes a lot of work (and luck) to reach critical mass and positive cash flow before funding runs out.
Quoted: TripHub, a Seattle-based group oriented travel site, has closed its doors. We originally covered the company’s beta launch in September 2006, when we described it as a good way to help compile and centralize information for a group trip, but questioned if it was viable as a standalone business, especially against other players in the travel space like Yahoo Travel.

Would love to go here ...
Quoted: The Plečnik Collection is kept at a separate location of the Architecture Museum of Ljubljana, consisting of a complex of Plečnik’s houses at 4–6 Karun Street and an adjacent garden with a lapidarium. The architect Jože Plečnik moved to a single-storey house at 4 Karun Street in 1921. From 1923 to 1925 he expanded it with a cylindrical annex to the west and a winter garden to the south after he bought the neighbouring building in 1929.

The igloo satellite cabin is charming, odd, and probably as tough as imaginable for habitation.
