Since I use some many different computers, I love using xmarks to synchronize the bookmarks shortcuts in my browser).
Now, you can do this on the Chrome browser as well. You have to update to the "Crhom Developer Channel" (version 4 of chrome), and then you can install xmarks for chrome (alpha) here.

Larry Halff and Chris Masina (sp) talk about the flame-out of Magnolia. I think, rather disturbingly, they start this video podcast by chukling about loosing all their user's data! I'd say their users would not find this that funny.
Larry seemed genuinely sorry about the mistakes he made, and was quite contrite as the video progressed.
- Lost 1/2 Terabyte of data
- Did not test backup system
- Had only one backup (not a rolling backup)
- Ignored operational issues/performance as site grew
- 4 mac mini's running as servers, 1 main DB server, 1 backup server
- disk was software raid - file system corruption caused this loss
- mag.nolia "never made money" (completely self funded)
- built a strong community, regardless
- "destination social bookmarking" does not have a good prognosis - more people are using, Facebook, say for sharing links
- ma.gnolia will come back hosted on AWS with better backup systems in place
- will relaunch as private beta only(!) - invitation only
- Suggest that web sites disclose more about their infrastructure and backup procedures, so users can be more comfortable knowing how their data is being managedQuoted: This week Chris and Larry discuss the Ma.gnolia's data loss, what is has meant for the service and in the community, and what may be coming in the future. This episode is available both in audio and video. The audio version is available on iTunes and here: http://citizengarden.com/2009/02/15/episode-11-whither-magnolia/

Google's Calendar widget builder. Support for multiple calendars to display, and some style options. This always results in a single iframe tag to embed on your site.
It seems odd that the builder has to sent size information to the embedded iframe url. Why is this not just rendered on the client where it has access to it's frame size?
