I can now say it's time to upgrade to Firefox 3.01. The 3.0 release was VERY unstable (esp. if you were using Rescue Time). The 3.01 release has fixed these bugs and is working much better for me. I can run my somewhat brutal JavaScript test suite (for PageForest) w/o crashes and Firebug seems stable with this release too.

SVN can be a nightmare if you are not careful with consistent case (upper or lower) for file names. I just spent a couple of hours trying to clean up a repository that had duplicate files added - each spelled the same, but with different case.
Windows cannot handle two files with the same name except for case and the repository gets very confused.
Seems like the only way to recover is to svn del the offending files.

firefox-2.0.0.15.en-US.win32.installer.exe at:

On a brand new machine, running IE 7.0.6000.16643, when I open a new tab, I get the "You've opened a new tab" page - but it HANGS/CRASHES IE (that page is non-responsive for about a minute!). I can't navigate to another page, or click the close button, or the close box, or anything.
Here's a trick to nuke this stupid page and just get a blank page when you open a new tab:
Run: regedit
Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ TabbedBrowsing
New DWORD: ShowTabsWelcome = 0Resart IE, and this annoying (and buggy) page is gone.

Ah thank god. Enough of this JSONP foolishness.
