The Seattle Flex Users Group. They meet at Adobe's headquarters (sounds sweet).

Adobe Photoshop Express - Made You Look.

Adobe's new online photo editing application. It's very slick, using Flash (Flex) as the client-side platform. If is fast and feels like a desktop application.

When I try to fullscreen YouTube videos with the latest Flash version (9,0,115,0) - I can hear the sound, but the screen is blank (black).

Is this a known problem with the latest Flash, or a bug in YouTube (or some other strangeness with my computer or Vista).

    Time for reboot to see....

...well, it's still broken in Firefox 2 - but full screen works with IE 7.

    Found a fix:

    - Right click the Flash player
    - Choose Settings
    - Click the left-most small icon (Display settings)
    - Uncheck "Enable Hardware Acceleration"
    - Close

    Full screen now works fine.

Scribd Steps Up Its Game With iPaper

Scribd's iPaper Flash viewer for documents is pretty amazing - the Book mode with animated page flipping is particularly cool.

Actionscript obfuscation tool. Looks like this was being used on the malicious ad we were duped into running.

JibJab Sendables | "Snowball Fight" - A Non-Crappy Starring You! eCard

Really excellent viral video advertising campaign (Pepsi sponsored). You get to paste photos of your friends over the characters and they are integrated amazingly well into the Flash animation.

Here's the one Michael Arrington is in.
