    Listology

Greg Dunlap just converted Listology to use Drupal. Cool site for making ad-hoc lists.

blist | share your weblists > Home

I think Blist has lost their way. The home page markets these as the top scenarios for their product:

    - Who are the top celebrities?
    - Find great recipes
    - Watch the best YouTube videos
    - Who led the NFL in rushing?
    - Who sold the most albums?

I thought this was supposed to be a small business tool. How can they be successful as a consumer oriented list make (that nobody wants).

At Alexa rank 141,000...this is NOT a mainstream consumer site.

Quoted: blist is the world’s easiest database.

Amazon.com: The Enlightened Bracketologist: The Final Four of Everything: Books: Mark Reiter,Richard Sandomir,Nigel Holmes

I heard an interview with the author (Mark Reiter) on NPR. This sounds like a really fun book. If you like "top ten lists" - this is even better. By arranging candidates in brackets (and even composing regional tournaments), you can come up with many interesting ways of comparing and rating things.
