Clinton takes the low road, goes after Obama on Wright - The Carpetbagger Report

    Hilary's new campaign slogan:

    "Better White Than Wright"

    (I have half a mind to print these myself - ain't I a stinker?)

One of the dangers of using stock footage in a political ad - the "star" of your ad can come out AGAINST you!

Quoted: http://www.YouDecide2008.com - One of the sleeping children pictured in Hillary Clinton's controversial "3 a.m." ad has come out as a Barack Obama supporter....

Why Obama thinks he SHOULD be president:

    1. Will bring people together (e.g., can actually get a universal healthcare system implemented).
    2. Committed to government ethics and transparency.
    3. Americans are tired of political double-speak (he is willing to speak plainly about tough political issues).
    4. Help change perception of America as more diverse and inclusive (both nationally and internationally).

Obama's "Yes We Can" speech, set to music by will.i.am (Black Eyed Peas). It's an amazing speech of optimism, which is made even more impactful set to music.

Recording of the Obama comments by Biden. Just what we need, another Old White Guy for President who shoots his mouth off w/o thinking first.

Quoted: "I mean, you got the first, sorta, mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man!"

Barack Obama - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

How can Obama be considered a serious presidential candidate?

    Qualifications:
    - Law degree (magna cum laude, Harvard)
    - One term in Illinois State Legislature
    - Lost 2000 bid for US House seat.
    - Won his 2002 Senate race by default (opponent withdrew after embarrasing divorce disclosures, and then replaced by the wacko Alan Keyes).
    - Served only 2 years as US Senator to date - he'll have 2 years more experience by 2008 - but most of his time will be dedicated to his campaign.

What fairy dust has attracted so much attention for him? Is an intelligent, well spoken black man so rare (is an intelligent, well spoken, *politician*, so rare)?

Of course, compared to Bush, Obama is at least articulate and comes across as a deep thinker. But why is someone with so little experience in politics the supposed front runner for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination?
