An easy to install and run, Proxy server application from AnalogX. I found this useful when traveling; NetFlix does not allow access to their online movie viewing outside of the US, (even though I am a US citizen and can use the service when I am at home).
So I run this Proxy server on my machine at home, and then can connect to the Internet through the proxy from Asia. NetFlix then thinks I am in the US, and I can stream the movie I want to watch to my hotel room.
Note: This is probably NOT secure - so I wouldn't leave it running all the time. It requires opening port :6588 on your firewall to access the proxy server from outside your LAN. This could easily expose all the machines on your home network to be accessed from outside your firewall (at least for any machines supporting HTTP access).
Quoted: Share one internet connection with ALL the computers on your local network with this small, easy to use proxy server.
