This cleaner looks just like my current one. From the customer reviews it looks like iRobot is just reselling another manufacturers product. It lacks any intelligence, and just rolls randomly around the pool floor and sides.
Deceptively, the description here claims there are brushes that "scrub" the pool surfaces. In fact (according to other customer reviews - and just like my current unit), it just runs on two foam rollers that only "scrub" when the robot becomes stuck at the edges.
At $1,200 I would have expected more from iRobot.
