I just noticed this new "news" feature on Linked In. They use the company names in your profile and do some news feed queries. At first I thought they were doing some sort of social bookmarking because they say:
Discover articles your colleagues are reading.
Just for <COMPANY> employees. Never miss the news that you need to read.
It's not really articles my colleagues are reading - that's a little misleading.

Is PRWeb really an effective way of getting PR distributed? In the age where everyone is a publisher - you need "distribution", not just publishing.
But I'm skeptical that PRWeb will really provide effective distribution, as I think editors and journalists are looking at other sources.

The 2nd film by Gary Hustwit on Design (first was the excellent "Helevetica"). This one focuses on object design and features Apple.
This supposedly aired last night on PBS - but I don't see any repeat airings scheduled. In fact it looks like KCTS ran a Rick Steves marathon last night instead of broadcasting this movie :-(
