I posted a ticket against Django 1.1.

I find that "configuration issues" are the bane of my existence (not just for Django).  There are several principles which should be applied to easy the pain of configuring systems - of which:

- Degrade gracefully when small configuration errors are made (and can be detected and repaired).
- Report configuration errors at the time of configuration (along with instructions for potential remedies).

Django did neither in this case.

Best docs are the help strings in the source - but this is close.

For the most up to date docs from python (is this not published online anywhere like the core Python modules are?):

The CherryPy docs are not as easy to browse as most Python module pages (which tend to document everything on one file).
