Apparently John McEnroe cried while interviewing Federer.
Quoted: John McEnroe cried interviewing Roger Federer and I could swear he is crying now interviewing Rafa Nadal

Federer has had more chances but has blown all of them. He is down 2 sets to 0. The rain-delay has postponed what I now think will be a straight set Nadal victory.
Quoted: C'mon Federer how many breakpoint chances are you going to NOT take advantage of?

My sentimental favorite is Safin. But, even though he won today and was playing well most of the time, I don't think he has enough consistency to beat Federer or Nadal.
Quoted: Marat Safin continued to defy his lowly ranking of 75 in the world to set up an intriguing semi-final clash against Roger Federer, the champion who for so long has held the "world's best player" status that was once the proud preserve of the Russian.

Heard about this when I was watching Wimbledon yesterday. Evert and Norman are both 53.
Quoted: Chris Evert, one of Wimbledon's most loved champions, married golfing icon Greg Norman this weekend in a moving service in the Bahamas.

One of the most helpful articles I've found regarding the forehand. The best part is that they actually have photos for left-handers!
Quoted: The SemiWestern Forehand Grip
...
This is another solid forehand grip. It places a bit of the palm under the racquet's handle. This makes the pressure on wrist strength minimal. It is a great grip for hitting flatly or with topspin. Slice is not recommended with this grip. It is the most common forehand grip in the modern game...it is the one that I prefer. When I teach players who are new to the game, I always teach the semiwestern grip. Agassi is one who prefers the semiwestern forehand.ShareViewed: 3 Times

I would like to see Safin make it deep in the second week. He's always had the talent and the game...just not enough consistency.
Quoted: The former world number one Marat Safin won through to his first Grand Slam fourth round in almost two years this evening. In near-darkness on No.1 Court, the man who beat Novak Djokovic built on that success with a thrilling win over the No. 29 seed Andreas Seppi 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4. He will face Stanislas Wawrinka in the last 16.

Interesting story. Unfortunately, Qureshi-Bopanna lost their second round match at Wimbledon.

This was definitely upset day at Wimbledon -- with Roddick, Sharapova, James Blake, and Sania Mirza all crashing out.
Quoted: Andy Roddick suffered his worst ever defeat at Wimbledon, bounced out of the second round 6-7, 7-5, 6-4, 7-6 by Janko Tipsarevic, the world No. 40, from Serbia.

Lots of the announcers and former players are picking Djokovic or Nadal to dethrone Federer and win Wimbledon this year.
Quoted: Roger Federer backs up his claim that he is the Wimbledon favourite with a crushing win over Dominik Hrbaty in his opening match.
