I'm surprised this hasn't been talked about more given how non-newsworthy it is. A transgender female wearing an "Impeach Bush" t-shirt appeared prominently in the background during Valerie Wilson's opening statement.

We now know that the person about whom I wrote this column yesterday, was really a transgender female named Midge Potts, formerly a U.S. Navy sailor, who is a member of the anti-war group Code Pink: Women for Peace.
