These guys have a sense of humor.
Quoted: While crunching numbers and wearing business suits, he couldn't shake the dream of starting out on his own, selling hot dogs.

Just trying to find some new lunch places near our office. Reviews are mixed for this place -- but that might be because they apparently try to make their food healthy.
Quoted: Just got back from here, and I thought it was pretty good. The teriyaki chicken bowl had tasty tender pieces of chicken and very good steamed vegetables. They give you a lot of chicken, which is good because I got full and didn't finish the rice (bad carbs!).

Refaving this place. They have plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the Burke-Gilman trail and the canal. On top of that, they offer free wi-fi, serve lunch, and have power outlets outside.
Quoted: Two doors down from my favorite language escuela, Seattle Language Academy (just off the Burke-Gilman in Fremont), is the brand new Canal Street Coffee.

This is one of those food by the pound places. It is hit or miss -- some of the things are quite tasty and healthy, others less so. Price is pretty reasonable at $5.49/lb.
Note: This is actually on 3rd & Madison.

New coffee shop / cafe right next to 24 Hour Fitness
Quoted: Carly C. says "Why is this place not totally crowded for Sunday brunch? Great food and great service! The menu is not too long (oui oui). They took a piece of toast, cut a hole in it, and put a fried egg inside. Kick ass.....On the side…

Quoted: Out of 43 sit-down and 53 fast-service chains, those that did not provide any nutritional information (maybe next year, Cheesecake Factory!) were automatically eliminated. The rest were judged on healthy food preparation; the availability of organic or hormone-free foods; whole grains on the menu; limited or no trans-fats in all dishes; low-sodium options; healthy beverages; and portion control; as well as how easily you, the customer, can access nutritional information—so you know exactly what you’re getting in your spaghetti and meatballs.

A reasonably good coffee shop just a block west of our office.
Quoted: I like this place for lunch as well...just don't be in a rush. The panini sandwiches are good but except to wait several minutes. So come for a leisurely, casual lunch, but I would pass on the coffee. I have been here multiple times for…

We ordered a 24-piece order of spicy rolls (8 scallop, 8 tuna, 8 salmon) for $10 CDN and a seafood salad for $8 CDN. Everything was high quality. I'd image it gets crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.
Note: They do take credit card even though this site says otherwise.
Quoted: Ajisai Sushi isn’t found on a busy road or one that most pedestrians walk past. Instead, it’s hidden away in a small pedestrian passageway beautifully decorated with tiles, flowers and wooden benches.

Noticed this on my way to work today. The reviews on Yelp are very favorable.
Quoted: i tried the chocolate mint and cappucino gelato- it was delightful. the girls working were friendly and the gelato is served in a cute plastic square cup..i'm a sucker for presentation, and this beats a stale sugar cone or styrofoam bowl any day. the small serving was perfect and everything else in the spacious shop looked deliciously flawless..or flawlessly delicious? i'll be back

Great sushi, prices, and atmosphere. Also, our group of 4 was able to just walk in on a Friday night. Service is friendly but a little slow.
Quoted: Ravenna spot offers fresh sushi and sashimi along with traditional Japanese dishes including teriyaki, udon, yaki soba and fried rice.
