I would say this is accurate.
Quoted: This is a guest post on capitalizing on — vs. countering — the “entrepreneur’s disease” (manic depression) through 4 cyclical stages. This is done by pairing appropriate activities to specific — though not necessarily positive — emotional states…

Great song, playing now at Online Coffee
Quoted: And now my fur has turned to skin.
And I've been quickly ushered in
to a world that I confess I do not know.
But I still dream of running careless through the snow.
An' through the howlin' winds that blow,
across the ancient distant flow,
it fill our bodies up like water till we know.ShareViewed: 14 Times

Recommended by Roy on http://thisuser.com. Looks pretty cool.
Quoted: Mockups feels like you are drawing, but it's digital, so you can tweak and rearrange controls easily, and the end result is much cleaner. Teams can come up with a design and iterate over it in real-time in the course of a meeting.

Quoted: Writing web apps today is a tedious and error-prone process. Developers can spend 90% of their time working around browser quirks. In addition, building, reusing, and maintaining large JavaScript code bases and AJAX components can be difficult and fragile. Google Web Toolkit (GWT) eases this burden by allowing developers to quickly build and maintain complex yet highly performant JavaScript front-end applications in the Java programming language.

mohit | Shared With: Everyone - Aug 21 2008 | books, toread, todo, economics, caltechFree "Introduction to Economic Analysis" from a Caltech professor. I like his description of the book...
Quoted: This book presents introductory economics ("principles") material using standard mathematical tools, including calculus. It is designed for a relatively sophisticated undergraduate who has not taken a basic university course in economics. It also contains the standard intermediate microeconomics material and some material that ought to be standard but is not. The book can easily serve as an intermediate microeconomics text. The focus of this book is on the conceptual tools and not on fluff. Most microeconomics texts are mostly fluff and the fluff market is exceedingly over-served by $100+ texts. In contrast, this book reflects the approach actually adopted by the majority of economists for understanding economic activity. There are lots of models and equations and no pictures of economists.

Looks like this might be worth reading. One (arguable) example of effective "framing": pro-life instead of anti-abortionists.
Quoted: In Don't Think of an Elephant Lakoff describes the funded think tanks that republicans use to generate a steady stream of white papers trying out ways of communicating that will trick Americans into voting regardless of their self interest.

This is great. It neatly captures what we've intuitively been trying to do with Blue Dot / Faves from day one. Having said that, we don't close the "3+1 loops" nearly as well as we should/could.
I think it also helps explain why Twitter can and do Facebook coexist.

Feedback loops contribute greatly to a user’s sense of Audience within a service. I talked about four such loops here. What other loops exist? What else builds and supports a sense of Audience?ShareViewed: 43 Times
